Depending on water and weather conditions, and where the fishing has been best, your guide will decide where you will fish. And, the great thing about Tillamook is the outstanding options available within a short drive.
Tillamook Bay is known world-wide as a producer of big bright Chinook. Its very possible that you will spend part of your day trolling herring in the famous "Ghost Hole" and spinners in the upper bay at the "Oyster House." Just a little further north Nehalem Bay can be a "sleeper" in the early Fall.
The Wilson, Trask, Nestucca, Nehalem and Kilchis Rivers are all excellent options and if conditions are right you could spend a day back-trolling big bait wrapped Kwikfish or back-bouncing fist-sized gobs of eggs. And, don't forget about tidewater. There are few things more exciting than watching a big bruiser Chinook pull your bobber down.
